📸 Why does the dog wait? – 강아지는 왜 기다리는가

Somewhere near the eastern sea.
A small dog sits alone at the edge of dawn,
staring quietly into the horizon.
The world is asleep,
but the dog... is waiting.

어디선가 본 듯한 장면이다.
내가 그 강아지였고,
손엔 아이폰, 옆엔 삼각대, 눈은 바다를 향했다.

"혹시 지금 저 구름 너머로 해가 떠오를까?"
수평을 맞춘 노란선 위에,
희망이 아닌 기록이 있었다.

I opened the camera app,
switched to timelapse mode.
Locked the exposure, fixed the frame.
Everything was ready—
except the sun.

해는 뜨지 않았다.
그리고 나는 묵묵히, 기다렸다.
결국 아무것도 담기지 않았지만,
그 자리에 앉아 있었던 나만은 남았다.

Maybe the dog wasn’t waiting for the sun.
